Day Four - The Grand Tour

The Grand Palace (or as Steve & Jen call it - "Input Overload") - shiny objects EVERYWHERE!
Today we checked out the Grand Palace (with Emerald Buddha) & the Temple of the Reclining Buddha. Postcard pics at every turn! Almost overwhelming. Shiny objects everywhere for Jen! We found out however that the idea of "personal space" does not exist in Japanese tourists' minds.
Major Bummer: Steve loses his iPhone. :'-( After extensive searching, no recovery. And the concept of "Lost and Found" does not exist in Thailand.
Ever gone for a Tuk Tuk ride into oncoming traffic?? FUN! Just wait until you see the video! It did cheer us up though having survived it.
Rounded out the evening with a wonderful dinner at our hotel, however Jen found out the hard way that one must always keep an eye on their last bite of dessert in Thailand otherwise "Mr. Takes Your Food Man" will assume that you are finished and take that cherished last bite to the kitchen to be... GASP... tossed into the trash! :-( All in all however, not a bad day!

The Reclining Buddha (the enormity of this figure is mind-boggling)!

One of the many man-made wonders of the world - simply INCREDIBLE!
